Desi brand’s 5G phone with 6000mAh battery launched for Rs 8,999, Chinese companies stunned

Desi brand Ai+ has launched the cheapest foldable phone in India. Along with Nova Flip 5G, the company has also launched a cheap 5G phone for Rs 8,999. Ai+ Nova 2 series has been launched in the Indian market, which has many strong features including a powerful battery of 6000mAh. Two phones Ai+ Nova 2 and Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G have been introduced in this series. Additionally, the homegrown brand has also launched its first tablet in the Indian market. This tablet is equipped with a large battery of 8,000mAh, 10.5 inch display feature. These two cheap phones of local brands can become a big challenge for Chinese companies.

Ai+ Nova 2 series price

The starting price of Nova 2 5G, the base model of this series, is Rs 8,999. This phone comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. Its top variant comes for Rs 10,999. The first sale of the phone will be organized on e-commerce website Flipkart on April 14 at 12 noon. This phone comes in black, blue, green, pink and purple colors.

The starting price of its Nova 2 Ultra 5G model is Rs 16,999. This phone also comes in two storage variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. Its top variant comes for Rs 18,999. It can be purchased in black, blue, green, purple and red color options. Its sale will be organized on e-commerce website Flipkart on April 17 at 12 noon.

Features of Ai+ Nova 2 series

Both the phones of this series come with NxtQS operating system based on Android 16. Nova 2 Ultra has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports 144Hz refresh rate. At the same time, its peak brightness is up to 2,500 nits. Nova 2 5G will have a 6.74 inch HD + display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate.

Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra has MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Whereas, Unisoc T8200 chipset is available in Nova 2. Both these phones come with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM. Both these phones have a strong battery of 6000mAh, with which there will be support for fast charging up to 33W.

Ai+ Nova 2 will have a 50MP main and 8MP selfie camera in the back. Whereas, Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra has a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide camera. It will also have an 8MP camera for cellphone and video calling. Features like Bluetooth, WiFi, side mounted fingerprint sensor have been provided in both the phones.
