Apple WWDC 2026 today, big announcements may be made for iPhone, iPad
Apple’s annual developers conference i.e. WWDC will be held today i.e. on June 8, 2026. The company can present its upcoming operating system in this mega event. Like every year, this year too the operating system for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, XR devices can be showcased. This event will include app developers from all over the world, who will design apps for Apple’s upcoming operating system.
However, this Apple event is not as big as the Apple Event to be held in September, because the company is not going to present any product in it. In this, mainly the company’s products, operating system and software will be presented, which will give information about the user interface and support of the upcoming Apple devices. Apart from this, the company can also announce about discontinuing the support of the operating system for old devices.
What time will the event start?
Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote will start today i.e. June 8 at 10:30 pm Indian time. This conference will continue for the next four days i.e. till June 12, in which developers from all over the world will be able to understand Apple’s ecosystem. In this event, announcement about iOS 27 can be made mainly for iPhones. Apart from this, users will also keep an eye on iPadOS 27 for iPad.

What will be new in iOS 27?
According to the leaked report recently, many types of upgrades can be seen in the upcoming iPhone operating system iOS 27 as compared to iOS 26. iPhone users are also likely to get some Android features. At the same time, Siri powered dedicated mode will be provided in the camera app, which can help users in professional photography. Not only this, now users are likely to get more customization options in iPhone than before.
Talking about AI features, a big upgrade can also be seen in the Photo app. Users will be able to edit photos taken from iPhone through on-device AI. At the same time, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has recently claimed that the user interface of Mac OS X Snow Leopard is going to be available in iOS 27. Many bugs of the previous operating system are also likely to be fixed in it.

The company is currently going to introduce iOS 27. It will be officially rolled out at the Apple event to be held in September. Apart from the upcoming iPhone 18 series, users will get iOS 27 update in iPhone 17, iPhone 16, iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 series.
