Bank of Baroda and Reliance Jio Partnership: Reliance Jio and Bank of Baroda have partnered and joined hands to strengthen the digital ecosystem. Under this, both of them have together launched bob World Lite app and it has been brought especially for feature phone users. Available on JioPhone Prima 4G devices, this bob World Lite app will work in collaboration with the vision of the Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India under which digital payments can be made available to feature phone users as well.
You can use bob World Lite app on JioPhone Prima 4G device.
This app will be available to the existing customers of Bank of Baroda as well as the customers of any other bank. To use it, users can just launch it on their JioPhone Prima 4G device through a simple and easy onboarding process. Through this app, users will be able to avail features like sending money, money transfer, mobile recharge, bill payment along with profile management along with UPI-enabled Scan & Pay. More features will be added in future. As part of the partnership between Jio and BoB, this app will come pre-loaded on JioPhone Prima 4G devices and can be accessed directly from the home screen. Existing users will also be able to download it from Jio Store.
Not only the customers of Bank of Baroda but the users of the bank can also use it.
This platform is not only for Bank of Baroda customers, but other bank customers can also take advantage of the bob World Lite app available on this JioPhone Prima 4G device. This app has been brought especially for feature phone users and is based on low bandwidth and light architecture through which it can be easily run on feature phones i.e. keypad phones also.
