Instagram has rolled out a new customization feature for millions of users. Now users can change the grid of their Instagram profile as per their choice. Instagram has confirmed this through its official handle. Instagram said in its blog post that with the new update, users can arrange their posts according to their own, so that their personal preferences, branding goals and creative presentation can be seen in a better way.

Will be able to make changes in the grid

According to Instagram’s official post, users can reorder photos posted on their profiles. In the profile grid, users can move their posts up or down without changing the original upload date. They will get the option of Reorder Grid in Instagram. To change the profile grid, users just have to hold and press on the post and then when the reorder option appears, they can move it wherever they want.

After reordering, the grid visible to other users on their Instagram profiles will change. Earlier, only chronologically ordered posts were visible in the profile grid, due to which users had to delete or hide posts to arrange the grid. Users were waiting for this feature for a long time. This feature of Instagram will now give users the option to change the layout of their profile. This feature will especially help creators in arranging their posts.

How will it work?

• For this, update Instagram with the latest version. After this log in to the app.
• After logging in to the app, go to the main profile page, where the grid appears.
• Then press firmly on the grid you want to remove or replace.
• Here you will see options like Remove from main grid, Pin to your main grid and Reorder Grid.
• Tap on the Reorder Grid option and move the post where you want to place it.
