However, in recent times, there have been some rumors on the basis of which it was being said that its foldable handset can be introduced only next year i.e. by 2027. The reason for this delay was said to be that Apple is facing engineering challenges due to which the launch of the iPhone Fold may be delayed. However, now some relief news is coming because a well-known journalist giving news about Apple has made it clear that Apple’s plan to launch its foldable phone is going as per schedule and it is expected to be launched with iPhone 18 Pro models this year.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman discusses the launch timeline of Apple’s next generation iPhone lineup. In the latest edition of Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman has mentioned that Apple is not currently facing any crisis regarding the development of the iPhone Fold. For this, citing several sources, he has said that the company is moving towards the announcement and launch of the foldable handset in the first half of September as per its scheduled schedule.
Vanilla iPhone 18 launch next year
According to many leaks, it is being said that the iPhone Fold can be launched along with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models this year, while the vanilla iPhone 18 can be launched in early 2027.
At present, the biggest curiosity among iPhone lovers is to know whether iPhone 18 will be launched this year or not? As leaks have been coming out for a long time, the standard model of iPhone 18 will not be launched this year and it will be launched in early 2027 next year.
