AC without electricity will cool the entire house in minutes, know what is this new technology

Have you heard about AC running without electricity? Yes, scientists have created an AC which does not require electricity to run. It works on the principle of science. Scientist claims that this AC can reduce the room temperature by 20 to 22 degrees Celsius in just 20 minutes. This means that if you install this AC in your house, even in the scorching heat of 45 degrees, the room will become completely cool.

What is AC without electricity?

Scientists have named this non-electricity AC as NESCOD i.e. No Electricity and Sustainable Cooling on Demand. Scientists of Saudi Arabia have published about the technology of this AC in a journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry. According to lab test, this AC without electricity can cool the room with a capacity of 191 watts per square meter.

This AC has a 3D solar regenerator, which continuously converts sunlight, water and ammonium nitrate solution into steam. In this way, this AC can cool the room continuously throughout the day. This AC works on the cooling cycle, which cools the environment by creating an endothermic reaction.

How does it work?

In simple language, when ammonium nitrate is dissolved in water, an endothermic reaction occurs, which rapidly cools the hot air present in the atmosphere. No electricity is used to run the AC which works on this principle of science. All that is needed is ammonium nitrate and water. According to research, this AC reduces the room temperature from 25 degrees Celsius to 3.2 degrees within 20 minutes.

To keep this AC working continuously, scientists have used 3D solar regenerator, which continuously heats the solution of ammonium nitrate and water and creates steam, due to which the ammonium nitrate gets mixed again. This process continues continuously throughout the day. The water and ammonium nitrate cool the room and then the water evaporates and the remaining solid ammonium nitrate will be available to cool the room again by dissolving it in water.

Electricity will be saved

A huge amount of electricity is required to run AC, refrigerator etc. According to the recent reports, the way the demand for AC is, DISCOM will have to generate more and more electricity in the coming time. Based on NESCOD, this AC will significantly reduce future electricity consumption. Electricity can be used for other purposes.
