Netflix launches Netflix Playground app, children will get new types of content from kids games to ad free
Netflix Playground App: Online video streaming platform Netflix is now focusing on content for children. Netflix on Monday launched a new app that will offer content focusing on children aged 8 years and below. Its name is Netflix Playground and through this the company has created a kids-friendly space. This will be an interactive experience based app which will provide content to children through the company’s gaming and popular shows. This app will include all types of memberships of Netflix and the company claims that it will provide an ad-free experience which will not include any in-app purchases. In this way it will provide a safe game zone and playing experience for small children.
Netflix Playground app launched
Netflix Playground will work as a standalone app and can be signed in through your existing Netflix account. There will be a curated section for kids with games based on popular characters among kids like Peppa Pig and Sesame Street. These will be completely safe for children and will be in an instantly playable format for them, along with this they will also be available offline.
The app will include many interactive activities
Netflix Playground will include a variety of interactive activities such as age-appropriate puzzles, memory games, coloring and simple creative tasks. In this, small children will get the experience as if they are playing with Peppa Pig, they will be able to enjoy playing with characters from Sesame Street mini games like Elmo and Cookie Monster and children will be able to come face to face with Dr Seuss theme based adventures.

Parents will also have control over this streaming platform of Netflix because with the help of parental control feature, they can keep checking the kids’ profile from time to time. In this, parents will get access to maturity filters, title-level blocking and viewing history tools. Apart from this, they will also get the option to customize what children will get access to on this dedicated gaming app.
